うさえ／USAE
もともとは30年くらい前、学校の空想の生き物を描く『空想動物』という課題でうまれたうさぎの妖怪のようなキャラクターです。
最初はも〜っと前歯が長くて人を襲ったりしていました（！）怖いのか気持ち悪いのか、使い所がないのか、まったくいままで表舞台にでたことはありませんが、折に触れて少しずつバージョンアップしたりして、コツコツと描いています。
最初はOLうさぎの設定だったのが、最近はJKギャルうさぎになったり。私服はゴスロリで、正義感が強く弱い者の見方、社会をぶっ壊してやるというパンク精神にあふれる女子うさぎ、それが『うさえ』です。
2022年はうまれて20周年ということで年賀状やグループ展用にに描いたりしました。いつかはうさえだけの個展をしたいなとか、アニメにして動かしたいとか、グッズを作りたいとか、思いながら。気がつけば20年。これからも進化していくうさえを応援してください！

The character was originally created about 30 years ago in a school project called ‘Imaginary Animals’, in which students had to draw imaginary creatures, like a rabbit monster.
At first it had long front teeth and attacked people (!). I’m not sure if it’s scary, creepy or useless, but I’ve been drawing it little by little, upgrading it little by little as time goes by.
I started out as an office lady rabbit, but recently I’ve become a JK gal rabbit. Usae is a female rabbit with a strong sense of justice, a view of the weak and a punk spirit that wants to destroy society.
The year 2022 is the 20th anniversary of my birth, so I drew some pictures for New Year’s cards and group exhibitions. I was thinking that one day I would like to have a private exhibition of just Usae, or I would like to make an animation of her, or I would like to make some goods. When I came to think of it, it’s been 20 years. Please continue to support the evolution of Usae!
