I was in charge of cutting illustrations for a masterpiece that everyone knows.
Even if you know what happens next in a masterpiece, it is still fun to read it over and over again, enjoying the development of the story and thinking about the feelings as you turn the pages. This time I was in charge of Japanese folktales, but next time I would like to illustrate Western masterpieces as well.
Just as I had many stories read to me when I was a child, I hope that the stories will continue to be read from one adult to the next, and from one child to the next.
As for “The Rabbit and the Tortoise,” I think it was a story about the tortoise going slowly and steadily at his own pace, but I am not sure what kind of feelings (sudden high tension) the tortoise had in (5).
