子育てコラムページのイラストカットを担当しました。待つとはつまり、信じること。口を出したい、手伝いたい。その気持ちをグッとこらえて、我が子を信じて見守る。そんな親心をよそに、子どもは自由気ままに振る舞ったり、なかなか一歩踏み出せずにじれったかったり。親が自分をいつも見ていてくれる、待っていてくれる。その安心感や信頼感は何物にも代えがたい宝物になるんですね。反抗期が来るまでは。

 

I was in charge of cutting illustrations for the parenting column page. Waiting means believing. You may want to speak up and help. I held back those feelings and watched over my child with trust. Despite the parent’s desire, the child may behave freely, or may be reluctant to take the first step. What is that sense of security and trust? That sense of security and trust is an irreplaceable treasure. Until the rebellious period comes.
